In his latest book, The Millionaire Real Estate Mindset, Russ Whitney shares the key
ingredient for personal and financial success

It’s a question many have asked, and now Russ Whitney answers: Why aren’t you rich?
There are plenty of books out there on how to build wealth through real estate and other means, and Whitney says most of them contain sound information. So why aren’t more people rich? It’s simple, Whitney says. To become a millionaire, you must first develop the millionaire mindset.
That’s the message behind The Millionaire Real Estate Mindset, Russ Whitney’s latest book due out in December from Doubleday. Whitney is himself the author of a number of books on how to achieve financial independence and wealth, but this one, he says, is different.
“After years of teaching and building one of the leading financial education companies in the world, I have come to understand that what stops people from reaching their economic goals is not that they don’t know what to do and how to do it, but that they don’t have the mindset that will allow them to succeed,” Whitney says.

While he acknowledges the importance of knowing wealth building techniques and strategies, Whitney says the essential ingredient to financial success is the millionaire mindset. “It’s not about big houses, flashy jewelry, and fancy cars,” he says. “It’s about knowing yourself and what drives you, it’s about getting past your fears, and it’s about understanding the psychology of the process as well as the mechanics of the deals.”
Russ Whitney says that to develop the millionaire mindset, you need to learn how to do what millionaires do: find a way to build wealth that you have a passion for, learn how to make your time more valuable, feed your mind with positive input, know how to deal with setbacks, and, of course, get the education you need. In The Millionaire Real Estate Mindset, he gives specific, step-by-step instructions on how to do exactly that.
But don’t get the idea that this book is just about attitude. Once Whitney explains how to develop the millionaire mindset, he moves on to demonstrate some very specific and innovative real estate strategies you can put to immediate use.
He begins that section of the book with several techniques that can be used by beginners who have little or no cash. Then he takes you to the next level, teaching you how to build on your initial success by doing bigger and more profitable deals, and how to eventually move from basic residential real estate investing to land development and even international investing.
Where do you get the money for these deals? Whitney explains that, too. In addition to basic investment funding, he shows you how to put together partnerships and syndications to finance those multimillion-dollar deals.
“Once you know how to put together a deal that will be profitable for yourself and your investors, you can keep doing it again and again. You’ll never lack the cash you need to do deals because you’ll have investors lining up to give you money,” Whitney says.
